American Prairie and Ken Burns honored Wynton Marsalis as the recipient of the 2020 Ken Burns American Heritage Prize during a virtual event on May 4, 2021.

This supercut showcases the virtual sets & animation featured in the virtual event. This event pivoted to a virtual production in 2021 due to restrictions on live events brought on by Covid-19.
3D — Virtual Sets
Designed & Modeled using Element 3D within Adobe After Effects. This enabled an agile pipeline working directly with the editor.
Composite — Virtual Sets
The final composite was realized using Adobe After Effects and Red Giant suite. Keeping the pipeline from Premiere and After Effects open was instrumental given last-minute editorial adjustments.
