Guru Nanak: The Founder of Sikhism — Life & Legacy
Role: Design, Art Director, Motion Design
Recounting the extraordinary life of Guru Nanak, the 15th-century teacher and revolutionary activist from Punjab, India, this documentary delves into the origins of the Sikh faith—the world’s fifth-largest religion. Beyond chronicling his life, the film explores how Guru Nanak’s enduring legacy continues to inspire Sikh Americans today, motivating them to lead with compassion, challenge societal norms, take bold risks, and uplift those in need.
I was honored to collaborate with Adam Krell of Auteur Productions to contribute key visuals to this documentary. My role encompassed the development of the title card, timeline sequences, end credits, and animated maps. Through thoughtful design, art direction, and animation, I aimed to create visuals that not only complemented the film’s narrative but also provided historical and cultural clarity to the audience.
